Not Retreating, No Way

Moral dilemma here. A family issue has been consuming my week, leaving no blogging time. Would some bloggers “milk” this situation? You betcha. Some would struggle, bleary-eyed, to post in the wee hours of the morning, maybe forgo meals, stop showering, whatever it takes to write a few half-assed posts.

But I’m not going to put my readers through that. As someone said last week, “only dead fish ‘go with the flow’… Productive, fulfilled people determine where to put their efforts, choosing to wisely utilize precious time.”

So, inspired by the example of our selfless troops - though I can't say exactly how - I’ve decided just to give up all attempts at posting this week.

Oh, that’s OK, no need to thank me for my sacrifice. And, yes, I will be back.
